My entry for the Festival of Quilts.  I am waiting for the judges comments to come.  Scary times...

rainbow?

When life gets you down, I get down to some dyeing.  These are the pieces of silk that I showed in jars in the last post.  Many rinses, a good wash and a hint of fabric conditioner to cut the static and they are ready to use. 
Colours used were medium blue, turquoise, magenta, scarlet, golden yellow, lemon yellow and pearl grey.  All procion dyes.
