Malaga

After two days at sea (which included sailing around the Bay of Biscay - how brave was I?) we made our first stop - Malaga. The Alcazaba fortress is at the base The Castle of Gibralfana with the was the place we headed for. It is old, huge and high and I walked all the way up to the top.

It was worth the aching calf muscles to see this window close up.

The gardens of the Alcazaba were amazing, with lots of walls and archways and doors, it was easy to imagine how people could have intrigues and secret assignations there.
