TAST Herringbone week 5

This weeks TAST challenge was Herringbone stitch.  Searching through my stash I found this piece of hand-dyed cotton.  I didn't want to just do a sample and bung it into a folder so with any luck it may have more stitch and become something.  Then again......

I thought you'd been snow dyeing for the minute!

The secret of those marks is to scrunch the fabric and jam it into the container very tight, then trickle dye over. Walk away and leave it overnight or even for a few days. No poking allowed :) You will still have undyed areas but they can be overdyed or even bunged into a dye bucket

Lovely fabric and yes, it truly needs lots more stitching; perhaps in green.
